Doosan stated that 'Changwon Mega City Xi & Weave', which was unveiled in Jinhae District, Changwon, Gyeongnam Province, in conjunction with GS Engineering and Construction and Kumho Engineering & Construction, completed the sale of all units in just over 80 days.
The complex will consist of 17 buildings, from 4 basement levels to 37 stories above ground, with a total of 2,638 dwellings, of which 2,041 will be available for general sale.
The complex successfully sold out despite a recent slump in the local housing market. It recorded a competition rate of 7.67 to 1 in the first round of subscriptions and the highest number of subscription applications among housing complexes in Jinhae District over the past five years.
Doosan noted that this success was due to 'thorough site analysis and demand forecasting based on data, which allowed them to suggest products suitable for the market and reflect the housing elements that customers truly wanted.'
The complex has applied innovative designs for five-room dwellings, including entrances and kitchen pantries, as well as alpha and beta rooms. It provides education services through a partnership with Jongno M School and hotel-style residential services, including Kyobo Bookstore book curation and breakfast services.
A Doosan official said, 'Changwon Mega City Xi & Weave has successfully communicated its vision as a landmark complex not seen before in Jinhae District to consumers, leading to a successful sale.' He added, 'Given the early sale out recorded in a difficult market, we will repay the support of customers who have shown confidence in the complex through diligent construction. We will also introduce complexes that meet customer satisfaction in the upcoming sales scheduled for the second half of the year in Incheon Bugae District 4 and Dohwa District 4.'
