The event featured significant participation from global clients, including Saudi Aramco, ExxonMobil, and Petronas, as well as numerous global energy innovation corporations such as Hanni UOP, Johnson Matthey, Jidara, Nel, Carbon Clean, and Baker Hughes.

Samsung E&A announced its vision of becoming an 'engineering company that realizes a better future through advanced technology' in 2023 for a fundamental transformation in the era of energy transition. Since then, it has established a differentiated execution system based on innovative technology, and has actively prepared for the future through technology development and investment in the energy transition sector, as well as partnerships.

Furthermore, after the name change (from Samsung Engineering to Samsung E&A) last year, it achieved significant outcomes, including its first entry into the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) sector, participation in the first eco-friendly plastic project in the Middle East, and acquisition of equity in global hydrogen corporation Nel, which is why it has held this forum for the second time to promote new opportunities and announce its technological capabilities as a leading energy tech corporation.

The forum, held under the theme 'Providing new value through the convergence of technology,' included presentations of technological solutions by experts in various fields such as energy transition, eco-friendliness, innovative technology, and finance, as well as panel discussions and seminars.

The opening remarks by Namgoong Hong, CEO of Samsung E&A, commenced with the presentation of the company's future technology roadmap represented by E&Able and AHEAD. Samsung E&A explained that it would fortify its execution system based on innovative technologies such as digital transformation (DT), automation, and artificial intelligence (AI), following the AHEAD strategy of 'going slowly and far,' while quickly securing key technologies in the energy transition and eco-friendly sectors and leading the market with the E&Able strategy of 'going fast and far.'

CEO Namgoong stated, 'Through this forum, we had productive and practical discussions on energy transition solutions such as carbon capture, green hydrogen, e-fuel, and waste to SAF, as well as innovations in EPC execution that maximize productivity and efficiency,' and added, 'I hope this forum becomes the starting point for global collaboration projects that lead the market, connecting technology to technology and corporations to corporations, leading to tomorrow's innovations.'
