SK ecoplant announced on the 15th that it has succeeded in winning the contract for the redevelopment project in the Myeonmok 7 district.

The Myeonmok 7 district redevelopment project involves the construction of a mixed-use complex consisting of 1,502 housing units and related facilities, with three basement levels and 35 floors, located in the area of 69-14, Myeonmok-dong, Jungnang-gu, Seoul.

SK ecoplant and Hyundai E&C formed a consortium to secure the contract. The total contract amount is approximately 595.8 billion won.

The project site is located within a 10-minute walk of Myeonmok Station on Seoul Urban Railroad Line 7, making it convenient to access central areas of Seoul, including Gangnam. Vehicle movement to Gangnam and Gangdong areas via Dongil-ro and Yongma Tunnel is also easy. Nearby educational facilities include Myeonmok Elementary School, Myeonmok Middle School, and Myeonmok High School. Additionally, there is an abundance of green spaces around, including Yongma Family Park, Seoildae Back Mountain Park, and Jungnangcheon.

Several development projects are also planned in the vicinity of the project site, which is expected to improve the residential environment in the future.

Lee Gi-yeol, an executive in charge of solutions at SK ecoplant, said, "Based on the experience and excellent construction capabilities accumulated through urban renewal projects, we will strive to make this project site a regional landmark," and noted, "We will continue to work hard to win quality urban renewal projects going forward."
