HanmiGlobal, a specialized construction project management (PM) company, announced on the 11th that it is recruiting students for the 4th 'GPMU Bootcamp' until the 30th to foster practical talent in digital convergence construction project management.
This training program is one of the 'Advanced Digital Leading Company Academies' operated as part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's KDT (K-Digital Training) program. It is a government-supported vocational training course that provides practical training based on real work.
HanmiGlobal has been selected as a leading company in the construction industry and is conducting tailored construction project management (PM) training for the digital age through this program, focusing on fostering PM professionals.
The 4th 'GPMU Bootcamp' will be conducted at KOLON Science Valley in Guro-gu, Seoul, from July 17 to November 7 for those eligible for the National Tomorrow Learning Card who are interested in construction project management. It will consist of over 600 hours of intensive training, with 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, and the tuition will be fully supported by the government.
The lectures will be provided by current experts from HanmiGlobal, offering practical lectures and hands-on training based on actual project information, and training incentives will be given to students who meet the conditions. Additionally, excellent graduates will receive benefits such as exemption from document screening during recruitment of new employees at HanmiGlobal.
The main training program will be centered on advanced construction project management techniques, specifically pre-construction. It includes PM theory for pre-construction using digital tools and hands-on applications of pre-construction for types of the latest projects such as advanced industrial high-tech factories and off-site construction (OSC).
Pre-construction refers to the business management techniques related to the overall planning phase before construction, including the design phase, purchasing, procurement, and ordering, where more than 90% of the quality of the building and total construction costs are determined, indicating its high importance, as the demand for specialized personnel in related fields continues to increase.
A total of 36 students will be recruited, and applications for the training will be accepted until the 30th through the official website of the 'GPMU Bootcamp.'
