Domestic window companies are competing to introduce 'high-insulation window' products. With interest in high-insulation windows rising, as simply replacing old windows with high-insulation ones can significantly reduce energy expenses, these companies are actively seeking to capture this demand.

LX Hausys, the top company in the domestic window market, has launched a campaign for summer with its popular energy efficiency grade 1 window product, 'LX Z:IN window view frame.'

'View frame' enhances insulation performance by applying a multi-chamber design that increases thermal insulation to both the sash and the frame.

A multi-chamber structure technology divides the interior of the frame and sash into several spaces (chambers) to enhance insulation efficiency. It is similar to wearing multiple layers of clothing, which creates an air layer in between that enhances thermal retention. Multiple layers of space form air layers that block external air ingress and minimize the escape of internal air, thereby increasing insulation performance.

'View frame' double glazing satisfies energy efficiency grade 1 with just one layer of low-emissivity glass.

Not only does it boast excellent insulation performance, but its implementation of minimal design throughout the product also catches the eye. The view frame features a bezel-less design that shows almost no frame, with the sash being the only visible part, a first for domestic window companies. The frame has been slimmed down by up to 14 mm to provide a wider view.

LX Hausys is conducting an event during June, offering customers who contract for the view frame window benefits of upgrading to double low-emissivity glass and a gift worth 500,000 won.

Hyundai L&C is also strengthening its market penetration with its flagship window product, the 'L-Safe series.' L-Safe is a remodeling-specialized window brand consisting of a total of four types: economical, premium, and high-end. The economical product can also choose double glazing up to 28 mm, raising insulation performance to the highest grade, thus drawing attention.

An industry insider noted, 'Window companies that are struggling due to the downturn in the construction and real estate markets are expected to actively pursue high-insulation window sales this summer season more than any other year.'
