The high-end officetel 'The Parkside Suite' will begin sales in June.
This is the first residential project of 'The Parkside Seoul,' a development project on the site of the United Nations Command (UNC) in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, which is evaluated as the last prime location in Seoul.
'The Parkside Seoul' is a complex consisting of 11 buildings with 7 underground and 20 above-ground floors, covering a total area of 44,935 square meters in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. It is a mixed-use development (MXD) project that organically combines residential, hotel, retail, office, cultural, and leisure functions, presenting a lifestyle-based complex city that realizes both residence and urban culture in the heart of Seoul.
Hotels, retail, and cultural facilities will have independent functions while being organically connected to residential areas, aiming to establish a future urban space in Seoul that can be likened to New York's Rockefeller Center and Tokyo's Azabudai Hills.
The 'The Parkside Suite' set to launch includes 4 buildings, with exclusive areas ranging from 53 to 185 square meters, totaling 775 units. It will showcase a high-end officetel featuring innovative floor plans and community spaces directly operated by Rosewood Seoul.
The key point of this project is that Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, a global luxury lifestyle corporation that operates luxury hotels, resorts, and residences, will enter the domestic market for the first time with Rosewood Seoul.
Rosewood Seoul will feature 250 guest rooms, upscale restaurants, large banquet halls, and wellness spaces called 'Asaya,' providing diverse luxury lifestyle experiences that permeate everyday life. It is scheduled to open in 2027.
'The Parkside Seoul' goes beyond being a simple complex, realizing an urban universe where parks, arts, culture, and business are organically consolidated.
Within the complex, a high-end commercial facility called 'The Parkside Mall' covering about 39,000 square meters will be developed, managed by large retailers. Furthermore, the exclusive amenity space for residents of 'The Parkside Suite,' named 'The Parkside Club by Rosewood Seoul,' will be directly operated by Rosewood Seoul and will provide exceptional services through facilities such as a club lounge, private dining rooms, and a hydrotherapy pool.
The space design was undertaken by Conran and Partners, a leading design house from the United Kingdom.
The pedestrian-centered street, 'The Parkside Way,' which spans 330 meters across the center of the complex, has landscaping design handled by James Corner Field Operations (JCFO), the designer of New York's High Line. This street will connect directly to Itaewon and is expected to be developed into an urban promenade featuring renowned international galleries, cultural content, and high-end brand shops.
Additionally, an 'Art & Culture Space,' where exhibitions, performances, and art coexist, along with an open plaza called 'UN Plaza,' will also be included, with expectations for future growth into a cultural and arts cluster representing Seoul.
'The Parkside Seoul' is located near Noksapyeong Station on Line 6, directly opposite the planned site of Yongsan Park, and has excellent locational conditions. Furthermore, it is expected to create synergies in conjunction with large urban development sites such as Hannam New Town, the Suwon base, Camp Kim, and the Yongsan maintenance depot.
A representative of 'The Parkside Seoul' noted, "Owning 'The Parkside Seoul' is not just possessing one generation, but fully enjoying an entire universe. We are determined to create a global space where residence, culture, art, business, and hotels harmoniously come together, thereby creating a new essence in the heart of Seoul."
The model house for 'The Parkside Suite' is located in the gallery of 'The Parkside Seoul,' near the Yeoksam Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
