Out of 1,545 association members, 1,170 attended the vote that day, and 1,081 members (92.4%) supported the construction proposal by DL E&C.

DL E&C had previously failed to win the bid twice last year. After bidding alone for the third time last month, it was selected as the preferred negotiation target.

The Hannam District 5 redevelopment project is a large-scale housing maintenance project that will create 2,401 dwellings and 146 office-tel units on a 141,186 square meter site in Dongbinggo-dong, Yongsan. It is considered to have an excellent location even within the Hannam New Town due to its high proportion of flat land and great views of the Han River.

Based on the construction cost proposed by the association, the total project cost is 1.7584 trillion won. With this order, DL E&C's accumulated contract amount for urban maintenance projects this year will increase from 924.6 billion won to 2.683 trillion won, surpassing 2 trillion won.

DL E&C proposed 'Acre Hannam' as the complex name for the Hannam District 5 and plans to make 74% of the total number of units larger than 84 square meters.

A total of 1,670 units will secure views of the Han River, exceeding the number of association member households, with 1,480 of those units able to fully enjoy the 'wide Han River view.'
