Kumho Engineering & Construction announced on the 30th that it has been selected as the preferred bidder for the 'Hanan Gyosan A3 Block private participation public housing project' commissioned by the Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH).
The total project cost is approximately 257 billion won, and Kumho Engineering & Construction will participate as the representative company holding 51% equity. It is scheduled for completion in December 2028.
This project is the first private participation public housing project among the third phase of new towns, planned to create a total of 1,100 rental housing units with two basement levels and 29 above-ground floors in the area of 12 Cheonhyeon-dong, Hanam City. It will consist of 531 units sized at 59 square meters, 537 units at 31 square meters, and 32 units at 33 square meters. Among these, 100 units of 31 and 33 square meters will be supplied as welfare housing for seniors aged 65 and older.
The seniors' welfare housing will include social welfare facilities such as a physical therapy room and healthcare facilities, and will apply barrier-free designs, such as adjustable washbasins. In addition, a private professional operating company with verified community operation performance will be selected simultaneously with the move-in to actively support communication among residents and community activation.
Nearby the Hanan Gyosan A3 Block are various living and educational infrastructures such as Hanam City Hall, Hanam Sinjang Library, and Hanam High School, all located within 1 km. It is also close to large commercial facilities like Hanam Starfield, providing excellent living conditions. Accessibility to Subway Line 5’s Hanam Geomdansan Station and major arterial roads and highways facilitates easy movement to Seoul and across the capital region.
