Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 28th that it will operate the 'LH Apartment Firefighting Technology Exhibition Hall' showcasing tailored future firefighting technologies for apartment complexes at the '2025 International Fire and Safety Expo' held at Daegu EXCO.

The 2025 International Fire and Safety Expo is the largest domestic firefighting exhibition co-hosted by the National Fire Agency and Daegu Metropolitan City, supported by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. It will run from today until the 30th.

LH will showcase future technologies aimed at sustainable living environments, from responding to fires in apartment complexes and electric vehicles.

The 'Apartment Fire Zero Zone' introduces ▲fireproof filling structures effective in blocking fire spread ▲downward escape ladders that assist in prompt evacuation ▲and simplified sprinkler systems.

In the 'Zero Energy and Future Technology Zone,' demonstrations will focus on sustainable living environments, including ▲high-efficiency energy supply technologies utilizing renewable energies such as fuel cells, sea energy, and geothermal energy ▲and autonomous patrol robots based on artificial intelligence (AI).

The 'Electric Vehicle Fire Zero Zone' will introduce mobile lower water supply systems and improved ready-operation sprinkler systems (non-interlock, negative pressure) technologies that can proactively respond to electric vehicle fires in underground parking lots of apartment complexes.

LH will also participate in the policy conference titled 'Narrowing the Gap in Construction Firefighting Systems and Technologies,' presenting topics such as 'efficient procedures for obtaining firefighting consent when approving apartment business projects' and 'improvements in the operation of temporary firefighting facilities at construction sites.'

Oh Joo-hun, head of the LH Public Housing Headquarters, said, “Through this expo, LH has been able to showcase various technologies and policies aimed at providing safe residential environments for apartment complexes,” and added, “In the future, LH will proactively lead in safety technology development and institutional improvement to create sustainable future-oriented living environments.”
