LX Hausys announced on the 21st that it is accelerating its strategy to target the European furniture film market by participating in the world's largest furniture materials exhibition, 'interzum.'
Interzum is the world's largest furniture materials exhibition, held since 1959. This year's interzum will take place in Cologne, Germany, from May 20-23 (local time), featuring over 1,800 companies, making it the largest event in history.
LX Hausys participated in this exhibition to strengthen its focus on the European region, the largest global market for furniture film. More than 50% of the company's furniture film business comes from overseas sales.
LX Hausys decorated its exhibition space with the concept 'The Sensory Lab,' which transforms surface textures into art. They showcased over 90 types of matte surfaces and bio furniture film products.
In particular, LX Hausys prominently featured its 'SMR (Supermatt Resist) furniture film' product line with a matte finish. The 'SMR furniture film' is a product improved by LX Hausys' self-developed coating technology, addressing common issues associated with matte surfaces, such as fingerprints and stains, as well as vulnerability to scratches.
They unveiled new products for the first time at this exhibition, including the 'SMR Touch,' which diversifies matte surface textures from soft silk to rough egg shell levels, and the 'SMR 3D,' which allows for 3D curved surface molding.
LX Hausys also introduced its 'ECO' product line, tailored for the environmentally conscious European market, including 'Recycled PP furniture film' made from polypropylene (PP) recycled plastic materials and 'Bio SMR furniture film' with bio carbon coating.
An LX Hausys representative noted, 'Through this exhibition, we plan to hold invitation meetings with major furniture companies in Sweden, Germany, and the UK, as well as actively seek potential customers in new markets, such as Northern and Eastern Europe.' They added, 'We will continue to increase our market share in Europe, the largest furniture film market globally, by leveraging our differentiated technology and design.'
