On the 12th, Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced that it has developed and started operating an 'online design verification system' to promote efficient and systematic design verification work.

The online design verification system supports the entire process of design verification to be handled remotely, including the distribution of design review documents, registration and evaluation of review comments, and tracking review history. It also allows real-time collaboration among LH, designers, and experts.

By utilizing this system, tasks can be processed conveniently online rather than through mail or email, leading to an estimated reduction of up to 30% in the design verification review period compared to before. Considering that this year's total number of LH business approvals and construction is around 160,000 units, it will enable efficient management of approximately 30,000 design verification review comments.

LH plans to database design improvements, such as recurring design errors, every year by utilizing the system and to enhance the quality level of public housing design documents through periodic training for designers.

O Joo-hun, head of LH's public housing headquarters, noted, 'The online design verification system will not only enable multi-party simultaneous collaboration regardless of time and place, but also reduce the burden of face-to-face meetings, thereby assisting in more efficient and objective design verification work.'
