This product is the 'Energy Saving Do Dream Savings' launched through SC First Bank. From June to November, if electricity consumption is reduced compared to the same period last year, up to 3.5% additional preferential interest rates will be offered based on the amount saved.

This savings account is for one year, and the monthly contribution is limited to 1 million won. The base interest rate is 2.6%, and an additional preferential interest rate of up to 1.1% applies based on salary or utility bill auto-transfers and credit card usage.

Those wishing to enroll can apply through the SC First Bank mobile application from the 12th to the 23rd. Information on electricity consumption at one's residence can be checked on the Green Building Portal website.

Hong Seong-jun, head of the Green Building Division at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, noted, "This will be an opportunity for citizens to participate in achieving the national greenhouse gas reduction targets while enjoying financial benefits, and we will work harder to make energy-saving culture in buildings a norm."
