On the 9th, POSCO Engineering & Construction announced that it would increase the number of 'penthouses and large units' as much as possible to implement high-end designs for the Yongsan maintenance facility Zone 1.
POSCO Engineering & Construction proposed high-end residential designs that satisfy both rarity and practical value, reflecting the change where large units are considered essential elements for premium complexes.
In the apartment sector, POSCO Engineering & Construction expanded the number of large units with a dedicated area of 111㎡ or more to a total of 280 units, which is 49 units more than the 231 units in the original plan. Among these, 11 units are composed of penthouses with a dedicated area of 200㎡ that were not in the original plan. It also added 'sub-penthouses' located on higher floors.
They also applied a specialized design for a three-sided balcony expansion to secure an average service area of about 14 pyeong per household, enhancing the living convenience for residents.
In the officetel sector, instead of the existing single-type unit of 29㎡, they introduced a modular design called 'Cubric Form,' significantly increasing apartment-type units of 59㎡ or more. The ceiling height was also designed to 2.5m to enhance the sense of openness, and external balconies were installed in all officetel units to secure additional area.
They plan to provide exclusive concierge services such as laundry, pet care, and home doctor through collaboration with the world-class hotel brand Hyatt.
