Real estate developer D-block Group announced on the 9th that it will offer 28 units of 'Hotel The Botanic Seoun Myeongdong' for general sale.

'Hotel The Botanic Seoun Myeongdong' is a 6-story underground to 20-story above-ground facility located in the Sinlim-dong and Ipjeong-dong areas of Jung-gu, Seoul, with a total of 756 units and a gross area of 21–50㎡. The occupancy rate is over 80%, and the average monthly guest count is around 40,000.

The subscription for 'Hotel The Botanic Seoun Myeongdong' will take place from the 12th to the 14th through the subscription home for three days. A total of 28 units will be supplied, including 7 units of type 41, 6 units of type 46, 10 units of type 50A, and 5 units of type 50B.

This hotel is a new establishment located in the city center of Euljiro and Myeongdong, attracting foreign tourists. The district where the hotel is located, the Seoun District, is the largest urban redevelopment complex within Seoul's four major gates. Plans are underway to develop high-end residential complexes, prime offices, hotels, shopping centers, cultural facilities, and green plazas on a total area of 439,000㎡.

Guests can enjoy a walk in the Cheonggyecheon waterfront park located right in front of the hotel, and also nearby are Namsan, Jongmyo Park, Namsangol Park, and Jangchungdan Park.

The hotel is located in a quadruple subway station area with access to Seoul Subway Line 1, 2, 3, and 5. Euljiro 3-ga Station, which is a transfer station for Line 2 and Line 3, as well as Jongno 3-ga Station, accessible via Lines 1, 3, and 5, are within walking distance, allowing easy access to a total of four lines.

The 756-room 'Hotel The Botanic Seoun Myeongdong' has adopted design concepts targeting the global MZ generation. It features standard rooms (1 module) at luxury hotel level, 1.5-module 'junior suites,' and 2-module 'Executive suites' as the basic room sizes.

According to the city of Seoul, as of 2022, there are 458 hotels (59,932 rooms) in the city, showing a decrease compared to 2020. In particular, the number of 2- to 4-star hotels preferred by individual travelers has dropped from 207 in 2019 to 177 in 2022, a reduction of over 14%.
