DK Asia announced on the 8th that it applied designs in 'Shin-Gyeomdan Royal Park City II' in Seo-gu, Incheon, that can satisfy residents' five senses.
DK Asia incorporated over 1.8 million flowers and trees and applied a landscaping area of 38% in Shin-Gyeomdan Royal Park City II to allow residents to experience the colors of nature throughout the four seasons.
Currently, the project provides a visual richness with red hues through the red osmanthus and golden autumn leaves, along with deep green visuals through the golden dewdrop. It offers visual stability through landscaping that emphasizes the graceful curves of Korea. In particular, the presence of trees such as the sycamore, camellia, and red osmanthus, which are habitats from the southern regions, is a first for the central region.
Auditorily, one can hear the refreshing sound of clean water and the cool breeze that sweeps through the complex from the tallest water fountain in the country reminiscent of Wallachia Arboretum and the 400-meter-long waterway within the complex.
In particular, the tea house, developed at the largest scale in the country, allows families to enjoy tea while taking in the surrounding scenery and sounds. The consolidation of two tea houses also enables a skywalk for leisurely strolls.
Shin-Gyeomdan Royal Park City II has engaged in large-scale planting of the red osmanthus, which is native to Sacheon, Gyeongnam, marking a first in the country. Red osmanthus is a premium species that emits a sweet fragrance along with beautiful flowers as it transitions from autumn to winter, characterized by its ability to spread scent far and wide, as indicated by its nickname 'wanli xiang.'
The complex offers a hotel-style meal service for the first time in Incheon. Shinsegae Food manages the service, providing a buffet with a daily changing menu that offers children new culinary experiences. DK Asia designed a large terrace overlooking a theme park that spans approximately 66,000 square meters for the dining area.
The Little Everland Safari World, Caribbean Bay, and forest-themed park created within the complex provide tactile experiences where children can directly touch nature with their hands and feel it with their feet. Through various stimuli such as the texture of uneven ground, the surface of leaves, and the temperature of water, children can develop their sensory integration abilities.
Jo Hyun-wook, executive director of DK Asia, noted, "We designed Shin-Gyeomdan Royal Park City II as a five-sense satisfying K-garden so that children can safely have diverse experiences," adding, "It will become a new residential model that supports child development and enriches family daily life."
