Hyundai E&C is the only domestic construction company to be inducted into the 'Hall of Fame' of the CDP Korea Awards, organized by the CDP Korea Committee, for seven consecutive years. It has also been included in the 'Platinum Club' at the highest level for four consecutive years, solidifying its position as a leading company in ESG management.

CDP is a global project that discloses corporations' carbon management strategies and greenhouse gas reduction efforts to investors and stakeholders. Approximately 24,000 corporations worldwide are disclosing information through CDP, making it one of the authoritative sustainable management indicators officially used by the United Nations, as well as various stakeholders including financial institutions.

Since declaring 'carbon neutrality by 2045', Hyundai E&C has been promoting company-wide reduction activities based on a strategic implementation plan to achieve this goal.

It is focusing on achieving various reduction tasks, such as ▲ development of low-carbon concrete ▲ construction of zero-energy buildings ▲ expansion of power brokerage businesses. Along with this, it is continuously expanding its greenhouse gas reduction efforts by applying low-carbon technologies throughout its sites and headquarters, such as ▲ converting company vehicles to zero-emission vehicles ▲ introducing energy-saving temporary offices ▲ installing high-efficiency LED lighting and insulating blinds at the headquarters.

Hyundai E&C is receiving high evaluations for its implementation of carbon neutrality strategies, including climate change response, not only from CDP but also from global ESG organizations such as S&P Global Sustainability Assessment (CSA), Sustainalytics, and ISS.

A representative from Hyundai E&C noted, "Winning the highest honor from CDP for seven consecutive years and entering the Platinum Club for four consecutive years is a testament to the results of voluntary and proactive carbon-neutral management. We will continue to grow as a global leading company that leads sustainable value creation through diversification of an energy-focused portfolio, including the expansion of energy value chains such as offshore wind and hydrogen."
