Samsung C&T announced on the 27th that it has been final selected as the construction company for the renovation of Gwangnaru Hyundai Apartments in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
At a general meeting held on the 26th, the Gwangnaru Hyundai remodeling association passed the agenda to finally select Samsung C&T as the construction company. The Gwangnaru Hyundai remodeling project will create a total of three buildings with 437 units and various welfare facilities, ranging from 6 basement levels to 29 above-ground floors, at a construction cost of approximately 270.8 billion won.
The Gwangnaru Hyundai remodeling project boasts a residential environment with the Han River to the south of the complex and Achasan Mountain to the north. The Gwangnaru Station on Subway Line 5 is within a 5-minute walking distance, making public transportation convenient, and access to major urban areas via the Gangbyeonbuk-ro expressway is also easy.
Samsung C&T suggested the new complex name 'Raemian Lucir Han River.' The name incorporates the Spanish word 'Lucir,' meaning to shine, and emphasizes the location's strongest advantage, 'Han River,' to convey the idea of offering the most radiant landmark by the Han River, according to Samsung C&T.
Various specialized designs that allow for premium experiences by the Han River have been implemented. The piloti structure plan secures enhanced views of the Han River, and the units feature open balconies and living rooms more than 5 meters wide, maximizing the advantages of the location.
A Samsung C&T official noted, 'We will successfully carry out the Gwangnaru Hyundai remodeling project, which boasts the best location by the Han River, to provide maximum pride to the members of the association.'
