On the 21st, the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 22nd that it had signed a social contribution business agreement with Yuhan-Kimberly at the Yuhan-Kimberly headquarters to support vulnerable groups in the blind spots of welfare.

This agreement was established to discover various welfare-vulnerable groups in our society that are in the blind spots of welfare and to strengthen support by combining the efforts of the public and private sectors.

According to the agreement, LH will partner with Yuhan-Kimberly to jointly support vulnerable families, including single fathers and teenage single parents, with 200,000 pads of diapers and childcare supplies within the year. It will also promote housing environment improvement projects to provide comfortable living spaces. Furthermore, a campaign will be conducted to encourage public interest and improve awareness regarding support for vulnerable groups in the blind spots of welfare.

Starting with this agreement, the two companies plan to implement various customized support projects throughout the life cycle, including support for hygiene products for youth, such as youth preparing for independence, and support for adults' diapers and daily necessities for the elderly.

Cho Kyung-suk, head of LH's Management Planning Division, noted, "The necessary support for vulnerable groups who are in blind spots of welfare and find it difficult to receive institutional assistance requires ongoing interest and effort," and added, "We will continue to strengthen support for vulnerable groups in blind spots of welfare by actively collaborating with various capable private entities."
