Haean Architecture is leading the transformation of Yongsan. Haean Architecture has successfully completed the design of the 'Yongsan Private Station Development' project, marking the beginning of significant projects such as the Yongsan Urban Regeneration Project, Yongsan Maintenance Yard Area 1, and Special Planning Areas 7 and 8. Haean Architecture plans to lead the urban transformation of Yongsan and elevate it as the center of Seoul.

A representative case that has opened the floodgates to Yongsan's transformation is the 'Yongsan Private Station Development.' Haean Architecture was in charge of this project's design, restructuring the deteriorated area around Yongsan Station into a complex platform where transportation, commerce, and culture converge. This has been evaluated as a 'meta-building' that redesigns the city's movement rather than merely being a train station.

Haean Architecture has grown alongside the development of Yongsan. In particular, the 'Amorepacific Corporation' headquarters, designed in collaboration with David Chipperfield, a recipient of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, is noted for its square structure and restrained exterior, symbolizing the corporation's identity and open communication with the city.

As for residential achievements, there are Trump World III in front of the Han River Bridge and Hyundai Hyperion I in Hannam-dong. Since then, Haean Architecture has continuously enhanced the residential value of Yongsan. Notably, 'Raemian Cellectus,' introduced through the reconstruction project of the Rex Apartment, capitalizes on its location by the Han River, designed with a crystal motif and boasts a sparkling exterior, completing Seoul's first 56-story skyline along the Han River, establishing itself as a residential landmark in Yongsan.

Haean Architecture explained, "We created a major view of the Han River with a design that maximizes the Han River's scenic value, resulting in successful outcomes."

Additionally, through the 'Raemian Yongsan The Central' born from the urban environment improvement project in front of Yongsan Station Area 3, Haean Architecture presented a new standard for urban luxury housing. This complex, consisting of residential units, officetels, offices, and retail facilities, achieved an integrated design while vertically arranging the characteristics of each function, creating a silhouette that harmonizes with the city.

Haean Architecture is also designing the future of Yongsan. Haean Architecture was selected as the designer through a public recruitment for all major projects, including the Yongsan Urban Regeneration Project, Yongsan Maintenance Yard Area 1, and Special Planning Areas 7 and 8. These projects are not merely redevelopment but are efforts to materialize the future urban vision of Yongsan.

Notably, the Yongsan Urban Regeneration Project will develop a complex facility that integrates industrial, commercial, residential, and administrative functions by utilizing sites such as the public parking lot near the Yongsan Electronics Market. Haean Architecture was awarded the bid in a consortium with Tomun Architecture for 'Nexus Yongsan,' aiming to create an integrated space that can revitalize the surrounding area, pushing forward projects with three concepts: ▲ connection of urban spaces, ▲ synergy between facilities, and ▲ a platform for sharing and coexistence.

Furthermore, Yongsan Maintenance Yard Area 1 is a project to build a large-scale residential complex consisting of 1,470 households, along with commercial and office facilities, through changes in the maintenance plan. Together with 'Raemian Yongsan The Central,' which was previously introduced by Haean Architecture, it is expected to become the pinnacle of urban luxury housing around Yongsan Station.

Special Planning Areas 7 and 8 are projects that are focused on making Yongsan take another leap forward from a cultural, commercial, and transportation hub to an international business center.

Haean Architecture noted, "The transformation of Yongsan created by our company does not simply remain as past achievements," adding, "The architectural community is focusing on the new image of Yongsan that Haean Architecture is designing by outlining the boundaries of the city and life."
