DL E&C participated alone in the bidding for the selection of a construction company for the Hannam 5 district in Yongsan, Seoul.
According to the maintenance industry on the 15th, the Hannam 5 district redevelopment association conducted the bidding for the selection of a construction company for a private contract until 3 p.m. that day. DL E&C submitted the proposal alone in the bidding. In the two previous bidding rounds held last year, only DL E&C participated, but the bids were unsuccessful.
According to related laws, if only one company bids for the selection of a construction company, competitive bidding cannot be successful, resulting in the bid being unsuccessful. If a proposal is unsuccessful more than twice, the association can enter into a private contract with a specific construction company through a resolution.
The Hannam 5 district is a project to build 2,592 housing units in 51 apartment buildings, ranging from 6 basement floors to 23 above-ground floors, on a site of 183,707 square meters in Dongbinggo-dong, Yongsan, Seoul. DL E&C is reported to have submitted a proposal to the association suggesting the development name 'Acro Hannam.'
The association will hold a general meeting for the selection of a construction company on the 31st of next month and will decide on the selection of DL E&C through a vote.
