On the 1st, HL D&I Hanla announced that it signed a business agreement for the promotion of the 'Sihung City Hall Station high-density, mixed-use development project' on the 28th at its headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul, with the attendance of Mayor Im Byung-taek of Siheung and Senior President Hong Seok-hwa of HL D&I Hanla.
The 'Sihung City Hall Station high-density, mixed-use development project' is a plan to supply a mixed-use apartment complex of 1,019 units, consisting of 5 underground floors and 49 above-ground floors, on the site of a bus stop connected to Sihung City Hall Station, located within the Janghyeon public housing district. To promote regional development and economic revitalization in Siheung, transit facilities, three-dimensional pedestrian facilities connected to Sihung City Hall Station, and public office facilities will also be developed.
HL D&I Hanla submitted a project plan for the 'Sihung City Hall Station high-density, mixed-use development project' to Siheung City in early February and was selected as the final preferred negotiating party after undergoing evaluation procedures by the Siheung City Evaluation Committee. Following the signing of the business agreement, plans for the land sale contract and building plans will be established, aiming for construction to begin in 2027.
HL D&I Hanla participated as a private business operator in the 'Sihung Baegot New Town regional specialization project,' the country's first large-scale urban development project involving public, private, and academic sectors, and has established 6,700 units of public housing and the Seoul National University Sihung Smart Campus within Baegot New Town.
Additionally, HL D&I Hanla has supplied 1,297 units of apartments in Eunhaeng-dong, Siheung, and business facilities in Gwangseok-dong, Siheung (Block 13 of the Janghyeon business district). It is also participating in the consortium for the construction of a hospital by Seoul National University within Baegot New Town.
