Samsung C&T noted on the 30th that the general assembly for the Shinbanpo 4th reconstruction held on the 29th passed the motion to finalize Samsung C&T as the construction company.

The Shinbanpo 4th reconstruction is a project to develop a total of seven buildings with 1,828 dwellings and associated amenities on a 92,922 square meter site in Jamwon-dong, Seocho District, with three underground floors and 48 above-ground floors. The construction cost is approximately 1.03 trillion won.

The Shinbanpo 4th reconstruction site is located within 100 meters of the interchange station at the express bus terminal station for subway lines 3, 7, and 9. It is equipped with excellent educational facilities such as Banwon Elementary School, Kyungwon Middle School, and the planned Cheongdam High School, as well as various living infrastructures including Shinsegae Department Store, Newcore, and Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital.

Samsung C&T suggested the new complex name 'RAEMIAN HERIVEN BANPO.' This name is a combination of heritage (cultural heritage), river, and seven, symbolizing the unique value of Shinbanpo 4th and the Han River premium, representing a top-tier lifestyle enjoyed in seven main buildings.

Samsung C&T prepared innovative proposals applying the titles of the highest, largest, and first in the Banpo area by collaborating with the U.S. architectural design group SMDP, which designed the Raemian One Bailey, and world-renowned designers like Ron Arad and Nicola Galizia.

The sky bridge, created at a height of 170 meters in Banpo, will feature a 360-degree around view and include facilities such as a sky gym, sky golf, and an outdoor pool, along with guest houses. The plan is to operate two exclusive elevators for residents to provide a private and special experience.

The large lake created in the central square of the complex will depict a unique atrium as an artistic landscape. Below it, the first three-story, 20-meter tall super-large complex cultural facility in Banpo will be established. The community facilities will include a green golf club, indoor tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a lounge restaurant, offering relaxation, exercise, and hobbies.

The largest penthouse in Banpo (239 square meters) will also be established. It will feature a private terrace and include one bedroom with one bathroom, applying luxurious specialized designs with a ceiling height of 3.5 meters to maximize openness.

Through innovative design that leverages the locational advantage adjacent to the Han River, a total of 1,320 dwellings with Han River views have been proposed, ensuring all members of the association can enjoy the Han River view. This is approximately twice the number of units initially planned by the association, which had aimed for 671 units with a view of the Han River, according to a Samsung C&T official.

A total of 12 exclusive amenities including hotel-style entrances, duplex lobbies, and private community spaces will be provided in each of the seven buildings.

Kim Myung-seok, the vice president and head of the housing business division at Samsung C&T, said, 'We will faithfully fulfill the business conditions proposed to the association for the Shinbanpo 4th reconstruction to create a new landmark complex in the Banpo area.'
