After winning three design awards in its first year of participation last year, HS HWASUNG received the main award this year, becoming the first mid-sized construction company in South Korea to win the main award for two consecutive years.

The HS Concrete Diffuser, which won the main award this time, is a product that reflects HS HWASUNG's new mission and spirit of challenge. It was produced in collaboration with media artist Geum Minjeong's fragrance goods brand 'Geo Art Goods'.

The scent 'Dambdae' contained in the diffuser combines refreshing citrus and heavy woody notes, focusing on expressing grandeur and trust. In particular, it realized a sustainable design philosophy that prioritizes the environment by applying a diffuser holder made from upcycled waste concrete generated at construction sites and an eco-friendly package made from waste sugar cane.

Park Jinpil, head of the product development team at HS HWASUNG, noted, "This award is a result that shows HS HWASUNG is presenting new possibilities in the construction industry through design," adding, "We will continue to create sustainable value through environmentally friendly and innovative design development."

The HS Concrete Diffuser was produced as a limited edition. To commemorate this design award, HS HWASUNG plans to offer it to customers through an official Instagram event.
