HDC Hyundai Development Company has announced that the complex 'Gangdong Ipark The River', which it constructed, will open in April at the Goddeok Business Valley.
Goddeok Business Valley in Gangdong District is a representative commercial and business complex in the eastern part of Seoul. It is adjacent to Sangil-dong Station on Subway Line 5 and provides easy access to Olympic Boulevard, the Gangbuk River North Road, and the Gyeonggi Province No. 1 Circular Highway. Accessibility to major business districts such as Gangnam and Yeouido will greatly improve with the extension of Subway Line 9 in 2028.
Twenty-seven corporations from various industries, including IT and security, design, and entertainment, have confirmed their transfer to Goddeok Business Valley. Eighteen corporations, including the Aju Design Group and HUNESION, have already constructed their offices and moved in, while nine corporations, including JYP Entertainment and Cuckoo Electronics, are in the process of building their offices.
Gangdong Ipark The River is a massive commercial, business, and cultural complex with a total floor area of 300,000 square meters (about 91,000 pyeong). It will be the first location in Seoul for IKEA, and Emart, CGV, the Vantt fitness center, and several popular food and beverage stores will also open. It is anticipated to become a landmark in the eastern part of Seoul, attracting a diverse age range from young generations to families.
Additionally, the office facilities ranging from 37 to 296 square meters (approximately 11 to 90 pyeong) will offer a high-end interior with an advanced business support system, allowing for occupancy with only furniture. Most offices will also have views of the Han River.
