On the 23rd, the Presidential Office unveiled 14 types of 'digital goods' for smartphones and smartwatches to celebrate 50 days since Lee Jae-myung's inauguration. Users can download images featuring the president's photo and handwritten phrases, which can then be set as backgrounds for their smartphones or smartwatch.
According to the Presidential Office, the goods for Android smartwatches consist of ▲ three types of the presidential emblem, ▲ one type of the presidential office emblem, and ▲ two types of presidential photos. The wallpapers for Apple Watches include five types featuring the president’s photo, along with three types of common backgrounds for smartphones.
These include the presidential emblem, handwritten signatures, and phrases, allowing users to download them to suit their smart devices for everyday use, the Presidential Office explained. The goods can be downloaded from the president's official blog and the Presidential Office website, and Android users can also install them through the Google Play Store.
Spokesperson Kang Yu-jeong noted, “Through digital technology, we aimed to realize the people's sovereignty in the palm of their hands, reflecting that symbol in the daily lives of citizens,” adding that “this digital goods collection commemorates the 50 days since Lee Jae-myung's inauguration.” The Presidential Office also announced plans to sequentially plan and distribute various themes of 'digital goods' corresponding to major events related to state affairs in the future.
