The presidential office convened an emergency meeting on the 22nd to assess the impact of the U.S. airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities on the domestic economy and security.
The presidential office announced through a press release that at noon that day, it would hold an urgent security and economic situation assessment meeting chaired by Suh Wook, the National Security Director, in the National Security Council (NSC) small meeting room.
The presidential office explained that the purpose is to "assess the situation regarding the U.S. attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities and to prepare response measures."
Attending the meeting will be the first, second, and third deputy directors of the National Security Office, the Director of the National Crisis Management Center, Senior Economic Growth Secretary Ha Joon-kyung, and Song Ki-ho, the Director of the National Situation Room.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump stated on his social media (SNS) platform Truth Social that "we have completed very successful attacks on three Iranian nuclear facilities, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan."
