On the same day, the Presidential Office said in a press release, “We will operate a temporary website for a limited time until the official website is constructed,” adding that it aims to share key information quickly and transparently, including the President's schedule, official statements, photos and videos, and briefings.

It also added, “It was built within the scope of existing maintenance contracts without additional budget allocation.”

The opened website contains statements, photos, and videos from President Lee, as well as official briefings from the Presidential Office.

In the future, the Presidential Office plans to distribute 'digital goods' containing President Lee's signature and national philosophy through the temporary website. Additionally, it has decided to open an official website that will include a platform for public participation.

The Presidential Office was originally planning to revamp the website immediately after its launch, but has reportedly faced difficulties in operation as all necessary materials were transferred to the Presidential Archives.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Office stated that it is examining overseas cases to establish a 'civil petition system.'

A representative from the Presidential Office, during a meeting with reporters, said, “We are considering ways to realize popular sovereignty through an upgraded version that complements past public petitions, and we are reviewing the petition systems in the United States and the United Kingdom.”
