On this day, during the first policy meeting after his appointment at the National Assembly, Song Eon-seok remarked, "The situation in front of our party right now is very serious. We have become the opposition party that lost the presidential election, and as a minority party with 107 seats, we clearly have limitations. It is time for desperate reflection and reform."

Song Eon-seok stated, "The innovation committee will discuss structural reforms that include the five major reform plans proposed by Interim Committee Chairman Kim Yong-tae and encompass overall system reforms of the party, preparing reform proposals that gather opinions from within the party."

He also noted that he would closely analyze public sentiment in the metropolitan area to transform into a national party. Song Eon-seok added, "I will closely analyze the public sentiment in the metropolitan area, particularly in Incheon and Gyeonggi, where there are the most voters nationwide and where we suffered defeat in the last presidential election, and strategically target policies accordingly."

He emphasized that the party would become a competent policy party. Song Eon-seok mentioned the rise in housing prices since the inauguration of Lee Jae-myung's administration, stating, "We will transform into a competent policy party that presents rational policy alternatives regarding this before the ruling party does."

He added, "We will not neglect to present policy alternatives to revitalize the economy of non-metropolitan areas that have been marginalized due to population concentration in the metropolitan area."

He reiterated his commitment to reform, stating, "If we refuse to change, we cannot avoid extinction. The People Power Party will pursue change and reform for survival through the innovation committee in collaboration with the public."

He emphasized 'unity' within the party. Song Eon-seok urged, "We must all become one to regain the trust of the public," and added, "Through inclusive and tolerant politics, let us consolidate our internal voices and protect the lives of the people and the future of the country with that strength."
