On that day, during a Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly, Leader Kim said, “As promised to the people, we will advance without hesitation for the complete end of internal strife, economic recovery, and national unity,” adding, “We will prioritize national stability and economic recovery to set Korea right.”

He added, “We will make thorough preparations to process urgent livelihood supplementary budgets and livelihood reform bills swiftly and accurately while minimizing external risks such as tariffs,” and emphasized, “Together with the Supreme Council leadership, our Democratic Party will become an unwavering aircraft carrier that strongly supports the Lee Jae-myung administration.”

As President Lee Jae-myung visits Canada from the 16th to the 18th to attend the G7 summit, Leader Kim anticipates that this will be an opportunity to restore 'pragmatic diplomacy.'

Leader Kim stated, “The President has been consistently communicating with the economic sector while preparing trade response measures to ensure our national interests and the rights of corporations,” and noted, “In the uncertain international economic situation, this will be a good opportunity for Korea to regain its status as an advanced economic power and to find a clue for economic recovery.”
