The presidential office of Lee Jae-myung's government will reuse the emblem (logo) that was used by the Blue House before Yoon Suk-yeol's government.

The presidential office announced in a press release distributed on the 13th that it will refrain from using the current emblem representing the presidential office, which symbolizes the Yongsan presidential office, in accordance with plans to return to the Blue House, and decided to use the emblem that was previously used at the Blue House again.

President Lee Jae-myung plans to move the office back to the Blue House. The name 'presidential office', which was used when the Yoon Suk-yeol government transferred the presidential office to the former Ministry of National Defense building in Yongsan, will also be reverted back to the Blue House as it was before.

The existing Blue House emblem depicts the main building of the Blue House. However, as the current presidential office is still in Yongsan, the term 'presidential office' will be used in place of 'Blue House' on the existing emblem until the return to the Blue House is complete.

The new emblem will be used on the new presidential office website and business cards of its staff. The presidential office plans to only use the new emblem where absolutely necessary to prevent waste of budget, and it will not replace or dispose of installations or printed materials that previously used the old presidential office emblem.
