A poll result released on the 13th showed that 7 out of 10 citizens expect that President Lee Jae-myung will perform well in his duties over the next five years of his term.

According to a survey conducted by the polling company Korea Gallup from the 10th to the 12th of this month, targeting 1,000 voters aged 18 and older nationwide, responses to the question of whether they believe President Lee will perform his duties well or poorly over the next five years (with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of ±3.1 percentage points) found that 70% of respondents answered that he would "perform well."

Responses indicating he would "perform poorly" accounted for 24%, while 6% reserved their opinion.

Support for political parties showed the Democratic Party of Korea at 46%, an increase of 7 percentage points from the survey conducted just before the presidential election. The People Power Party's support was 21%, a decrease of 12 percentage points during the same period. Consequently, the gap between the two major parties was the largest seen in the last five years, according to the Korea Gallup survey.

The Reform Party had 5%, the Rebuilding Korea Party had 4%, and The Progressive Party had 1%, respectively.

This survey was conducted via interview by telephone with randomly selected virtual numbers. The contact rate was 44.9%, and the response rate was 14.9%. For more details, refer to the Central Election Polling Review Committee.
