The People Power Party's former presidential candidate Kim Moon-soo's team noted on the 4th regarding Kim's activities following his defeat in the 21st presidential election, saying, "As a person who was the party's presidential candidate, Kim is contemplating what role he can play and what help he can provide for the party's path and direction."

On this day, Kim attended the disbandment ceremony of the party's central election committee and had dinner with committee associates at a restaurant near Yeouido, Seoul.

After the dinner, Spokesperson Cho Yong-sul said, "Former candidate Kim is very concerned about the future of the party," noting, "He needs some time for contemplation about what role he should take on as a senior member of the party."

Spokesperson Cho stated, "Former candidate Kim has rested for only half a day. Therefore, he will organize his future actions after listening to various opinions." When asked if there were suggestions for him to take on a role in the party, Cho replied, "There were none. He is considering what help he can offer."

During the gathering, concerns were reportedly raised regarding the Democratic Party of Korea's unilateral handling in the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee of a court organization bill amendment aimed at increasing the number of Supreme Court justices.
