The first meeting of lawmakers from the People Power Party's younger faction has been confirmed to convene for an emergency meeting on the 5th.
According to People Power Party officials on the 4th, they will hold an emergency meeting at 7 p.m. on the 5th in the 7th conference room of the National Assembly Members' Office Building. It is reported that the meeting will actively discuss diagnosing the cause of the recent presidential election defeat and the leadership accountability issue being raised, particularly centered around the Han Dong-hoon faction.
The number of attendees who have confirmed their attendance includes lawmaker Kim Jae-seop from within the National Assembly, along with over 10 outside party association chairs. The first meeting is primarily comprised of People Power Party's 3040 personnel, including Lee Jae-young, chair of the Gangdong-eul party association in Seoul, and Lee Seung-hwan, chair of the Jungnang-eul party association.
