According to Reuters, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala noted this after the Supreme Administrative Court canceled the injunction against the contract on the same day.

KHNP and the Czech Energy Company (CEZ) subsidiary, Dukovany II Nuclear Power Plant (EDU II), reportedly signed the final contract via electronic documents.

The Czech Supreme Administrative Court stated that it had to determine whether the public interest under the contract takes precedence over the interests of the parties involved in the lawsuit due to the injunction, thus canceling the injunction decision made by the Brno District Court on the 6th of last month.

KHNP and EDU II initially planned to sign the final contract on the 7th of last month, but this was disrupted due to the injunction decision. The Czech government had previously given CEZ preliminary approval for the final contract to ensure that it could be signed immediately after the court lifted the injunction.
