The Korean Business Organization (KBO) at UC Berkeley will host the 'Korea Business Networking Conference 2025' (hereinafter KBNC) on the 7th at the Domohun in Busan.
The '2025 KBNC,' themed 'Designing the Future of Korea and Busan Beyond Generations and Borders,' will discuss the sustainable future of Korea and the role of Busan. KBO noted, 'We plan to deeply discuss strategies for Busan to leap forward as a global hub connecting Asia and the world, beyond the capital-centered growth model.'
Key speakers are expected to include Park Hyung-jun, the Mayor of Busan, Lee Young-pyo, KBS commentator (former national football player), and Shin Jae-myung, representative of Delight Room.
Kim Dong-joo, representative of the Hwaseong Group and founder of KBO, said, 'The growth of Busan will contribute to Korea's balanced development by reducing the gap between the capital region and local areas, and I will work to connect business and society to make Busan a center where global talent and corporations gather and grow.'
Choi Jae-hyun, a director of the Korea-U.S. Cultural Foundation and co-founder of KBO, stated, 'I will lend support so that the youth of Korea can communicate with the world and start new challenges.'
The Korean Business Organization at UC Berkeley is a business organization established in 2019 by seven Korean students who were studying at UC Berkeley. This year, it planned and held the KBNC as its first international conference, and it plans to continue hosting the event annually in the future.
