Candidate Lee Jun-seok said on Facebook on the day of the presidential election, "Many Yeouido chatterboxes said we would unify, give up, and eventually withdraw from the election. However, we kept our promise with the people until the end and confidently completed the presidential election."
Lee Jun-seok noted, "The current People Power Party has already lost its essence. It has become the center of far-right politics, calling for martial law and rigged elections, and is no longer a conservative nor a legitimate party." He added, "Now is the time for the people to put an end to this fight."
Lee emphasized, "Young politicians are walking a difficult path, but we have shown that this path is correct and demonstrated our resolve to continue walking it." He added, "Your vote, your overwhelming support, is what creates the decision to change politics."
