The vote percentages by candidate are as follows: Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea 45.98%, Kim Moon-soo of the People Power Party 45.85%, and Lee Jun-seok of the Reform Party 7.13%.
The vote counts in the capital region are as follows: Gyeonggi 11.05%, Incheon 4.3%, and Seoul 9.59%.
On that day, exit poll results from the three major broadcasters (KBS, MBC, SBS) predicted the nationwide vote percentages as follows: Lee Jae-myung 51.7%, Kim Moon-soo 39.3%, and Lee Jun-seok 7.7%.
The official voting for the 21st presidential election ended at 8 p.m. that day, with a nationwide turnout of 79.4%.
