Shin Dong-uk, the spokesperson for the People Power Party, noted on the 2nd, "I cannot quantify the overall electoral landscape, but I believe we have entered a golden cross."

The spokesperson said during a meeting with reporters at the People Power Party headquarters in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, in the morning that, "During the last early voting, turnout was high, particularly in the Honam region, and I think our support base will expand once the main voting begins tomorrow."

The spokesperson stated, "Today, candidate Kim Moon-soo's campaigning in Jeju while traveling along the Gyeongbu Line will determine how many of our supporters come out to the polls," and added, "Recently, concerns about poor management of early voting have increased, which seems to have kept our supporters from coming out. I believe that if many supporters come out tomorrow, a reversal is possible."

The spokesperson claimed, "Over the past two weeks, the public's concerns regarding the moral issues involving Lee Jae-myung, the (Democratic Party of Korea) candidate, as well as his entire family, have grown significantly," and added that "Kim Moon-soo is a candidate that cannot be negatively portrayed, as I have been covering him since my days as a journalist 30 years ago. I believe the public will be confident that Lee Jae-myung does not qualify to become president."

The spokesperson mentioned regarding the potential unification with Lee Jun-seok, the candidate from the Reform Party, that "we will do our best until the end." He remarked, "I do not know how realistic the chances are," and continued, "The last thing I heard from candidate Kim Moon-soo was that 'Unification is not the goal, and to prevent the birth of a monstrous dictatorship for the future of Korea, I ask Lee Jun-seok to join the cause.'"
