The Democratic Party's election committee announced in a press release that afternoon, saying, "Under General Headquarters Manager Yoon Ho-jung's direction, a ‘Comment Manipulation and Election Fraud Reporting Center’ will be established at the General Situation Room of the election committee."

It was also stated that tips regarding comment manipulation and election fraud, acts that destroy democracy, would be accepted.

The Democratic Party has officially raised suspicions that an ultra-right group set up a comment manipulation team called 'Jasongun (Freedom Finger Army Saving the Country with Comments)' to manipulate public opinion. Previously, a media outlet reported on the previous day that a conservative group called 'Lee Box School' had created and operated the 'Jasongun' comment manipulation team.

Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, remarked on the allegations during a campaign rally in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi, saying, "Isn't this an act of rebellion?" and added, "We must thoroughly uncover even the last remnants and hold them accountable."

He continued, "The more serious issue is the strong connection to the People Power Party. There are rumors of lawmakers coming and going, and participating in fake press conferences. If we dig deeper, we might find serious criminal activities that could turn the country upside down."

The Democratic Party's Rapid Response Team stated that it would file a complaint against the group’s associates for clarifying the truth, saying, "We will submit a complaint today against Mr. Son, head of 'Lee Box School,' for violating the Public Official Election Act’s prohibition on setting up similar organizations."

They particularly escalated their attack on the People Power Party and its presidential candidate, Kim Moon-soo.

Shin Hyun-young, the Democratic Party's election committee spokesperson, urged in a written briefing, "Kim Moon-soo and the People Power Party must clarify their relationship with 'Jasongun,'" and raised further suspicions, stating, "Kweon Seong-dong, the floor leader, Kim Sang-hoon, the policy committee chair, and lawmaker Jo Jung-hoon disguised the comment manipulation team 'Jasongun' as a parent organization to criticize Lee Jae-myung's education pledge during a 'fake press conference.'"

The Rapid Response Team also stated, "Mr. Son, who leads 'Lee Box School,' has casually mentioned having a close relationship with candidate Kim Moon-soo. We also received a tip-off that Mr. Lee, the former 'Alpha Team Leader' of the NIS comment manipulation, is assisting candidate Kim.” They added, "Candidate Kim has an obligation to clearly explain his links to Lee Box School, Mr. Lee, and his campaign team."
