Hee-sook Yoon, head of Yeouido Research Institute of the People Power Party, noted on the 30th about former chairman of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation, Yu Si-min, 'There has never been a day I regretted helping graduate that person like yesterday.' This statement was made as Yoon revealed an anecdote about lending notes to senior Yu during their time in the Economics Department at Seoul National University, assisting Yu in graduating.

Yoon stated during a meeting with the election campaign committee of the People Power Party, 'Back in my junior year of university in 1991, returning student senior Yu approached me after class, asking me to help him graduate,' continuing, 'He explained how important it was for the country to assist someone as competent as him. Being young and naïve, I ended up lending him my notes for an entire semester.'

He also mentioned this anecdote on social media (SNS), questioning, 'Is Mr. Yu that proud of his degree from Seoul National University?' He noted that during the first semester of 1991, Yu, who had returned to school, waited outside the lecture hall and approached him after class. Yu pleaded, saying, 'Helping a great person like me is patriotic,' and borrowed Yoon's notes.

Yoon is a class of '89 in the Economics Department at Seoul National University. Former chairman Yu is a class of '78 in the same department, who was expelled following a one-year prison sentence for the 'Seoul National University civilian detention assault case' in September 1984. Yu was reinstated and received his diploma in Aug. 1991.

Yoon commented, 'He is a person who looks down on those less educated than him, and women are just calm and meticulous note takers to him. To him, a woman who marries a more educated man is someone who has gone where he cannot,' adding, 'This is an extremely repugnant view of women, or I should say humanity. It's the thought that people are just to be used and discarded.'

He further remarked, 'I was utterly shocked when I read the judgment regarding Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party's son's case. There were four things in the judgment that should never be said to a person. Yet, neither candidate Lee nor Democratic Party politicians have apologized for how horrible the other party must have felt.' He added, 'Those who always speak of equality, justice, and solidarity seem to lack the basic respect for people, and I feel ashamed. I urge voters to decisively halt this hypocrisy in the upcoming election.'

Earlier, former chairman Yu appeared on the YouTube show 'Kim Eo-jun's Das Boi-da,' released on the night of the 28th, where he remarked about Seol Nan-young, wife of People Power Party's candidate Kim Moon-soo, suggesting she is 'not in her right mind for being in a position as the spouse of a presidential candidate beyond her capacity.'
