According to Yonhap News, at around 7:10 a.m. on that day, a report was received from an election observer at the early voting center at Seongbok-dong Community Center in Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi, stating that "a ballot marked for candidate Lee Jae-myung came out folded in half from the return envelope."

The report was made immediately when a voter informed an election observer that a marked ballot was found in the return envelope.

It is known that police dispatched to the scene handed over the site to the Election Commission and withdrew. The Election Commission is currently verifying the exact facts.
