Lee Jun-seok, the Reform Party presidential candidate, criticized Democratic Party of Korea candidate Lee Jae-myung on the 29th for being confident about a 'unification with Kim Moon-soo of the People Power Party,' saying, 'If you see illusions, it's time to step down.'

Candidate Lee said on Facebook, 'Just like someone who believed in the fraudulent election theory, candidate Lee Jae-myung is once again falling into the swamp of delusion.'

Previously, candidate Lee Jae-myung said on Facebook regarding candidate Lee Jun-seok, 'Despite denying any unification with Kim Moon-soo, I am confident that eventually, there will be a withdrawal of candidacy and a 'Kim Moon-soo unification' leading to a civil war, corruption, and division alliance.'

Candidate Lee Jun-seok, after a campaign in Pangyo, Seongnam, Gyeonggi, told reporters about the question, 'Did the sincerity feel genuine when candidate Kim visited the office yesterday but turned back without meeting?', explaining, 'I have consistently expressed that there is no intention to discuss unification, and there seems to be no change.'

Continuing, he said, 'I am at a loss because (candidate Kim) came to the office without a scheduled appointment,' emphasizing, 'I have never doubted candidate Kim's sincerity and goodwill, but there are no plans to meet.'
