The opinion poll results were announced on the 28th, showing Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea with 46%, Kim Moon-soo of the People Power Party with 37%, and Lee Jun-seok of the Reform Party with 11% support.

Korea Gallup conducted its final pre-election opinion poll at the request of the Seoul Economic Daily from the 26th to 27th, targeting 1,003 men and women aged 18 and older nationwide. No further opinion polls can be released from the 29th until the election day on the 3rd of next month.

According to the results of this opinion poll, candidate Lee Jae-myung dropped 5 percentage points compared to three weeks ago. In contrast, candidate Kim increased by 7 percentage points, and candidate Lee Jun-seok also rose by 2 percentage points. As a result, the gap between Lee Jae-myung and Kim Moon-soo narrowed from 21 percentage points to 9 percentage points in three weeks.

In a hypothetical two-way matchup predicated on conservative unification, Lee Jun-seok's approval rating significantly increased. Lee Jae-myung and Kim's figures were 51% to 45%, while Lee Jae-myung and Lee Jun-seok recorded 48% to 43%.

The margin of error for the Korea Gallup opinion poll is ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. This survey was conducted through telephone interviews using 100% mobile virtual (safe) numbers, with a response rate of 19.9%.
