People Power Party candidate Kim Moon-soo announced on the 28th a commitment to stabilize the housing market by supplying 250,000 dwellings in Seoul over five years and purchasing 10,000 unsold dwellings in provincial areas after completion.

Candidate Kim disclosed his commitment to a "country without worries about housing, housing policy" through Facebook that day.

He proposed measures to shorten the project period by transferring the authorization rights for redevelopment and reconstruction to local governments for the supply of "250,000 dwellings in Seoul" and to expand the purchase of rental housing. He stated plans to establish housing supply promotion zones in areas such as railway vehicle bases, station areas, and semi-industrial zones.

To normalize the demand for the stagnant provincial housing market, he pledged to purchase 10,000 unsold dwellings after completion, ease the limit on the number of dwellings purchased in provincial areas, and exclude them from additional taxes.

He stated that public housing will be supplied so that residents can freely choose among rental, equity sharing, and sale, thereby enhancing their options for home ownership.

On that day, he also announced pledges in the form of a "one-line commitment," including ▲ payment of 100 million won at birth ▲ strengthening penalties for online sexual crimes ▲ reducing the number of regular admissions and expanding the evaluation of college entrance exams ▲ realizing training allowances for reservists ▲ mutual recognition of voting rights, property rights, and health insurance for foreigners ▲ reconstruction of Sajik Baseball Stadium into a dome stadium with a capacity of over 30,000.
