Kim emphasized, “I will ensure that the cabinet is formed by the hands of the people, excluding any individuals who do not meet the expectations of the people, and will operate the cabinet fairly and transparently.” He added, “In order to operate the presidential office transparently and fairly, I will thoroughly exclude any individuals who do not meet the expectations of the people.”
Kim also noted, “On the afternoon of the inauguration day, I will hold a joint meeting with the floor leaders of the ruling and opposition parties to start discussions on the 30 trillion won supplementary budget for public livelihood,” and added, “We will quickly respond to international economic issues that have a significant impact on our national interests through cooperation with the opposition.”
He also stated, “I will immediately resolve trade issues with the United States,” adding, “I will call President Trump and plan a visit to the U.S. within a month.”
Furthermore, Kim said, “Given the critical state of our economy, we cannot wait until a Minister is appointed,” and stated, “I will establish an ‘emergency economic war room.’”
