Han Dong-hoon, former leader of the People Power Party, said on the 25th, "For our party to have a genuine contest in this election, a break with former President Yoon Suk-yeol and his spouse is necessary," and added, "I believe candidate Kim Moon-soo resonates with that sentiment."

On that day, former leader Han held a campaign event supporting candidate Kim at Seokchon Lake in Songpa District, Seoul, and commented on Kim's statement that he would "immediately push for amendments to the party constitution to completely block presidential interference in party affairs."

Former leader Han noted, "Furthermore, today candidate Kim mentioned his intention to participate in early voting," adding, "I think this is a very meaningful and significant development."

He continued, "To have a genuine contest, we must sever ties with former President Yoon Suk-yeol and his spouse, distance ourselves from conspiracy theories about election fraud, and break away from pro-Yoon factions. If we do so, we can win, and I believe candidate Kim is also in agreement and is moving in the right direction on this matter."

He added, "You must show a clear message and action to decisively eliminate the pro-Yoon establishment," stating, "If you do that, our support rate will increase by 5 percentage points (p) or 10 percentage points."

At the campaign event that day, former leader Han wore a People Power Party campaign uniform marked with the name 'Kim Moon-soo.' This was the first time Han wore clothing with Kim's name on it.

However, regarding candidate Kim's ongoing efforts to form a single candidacy with Reform Party candidate Lee Jun-seok, he emphasized, "I strongly support and agree with the unification for victory," but also stated, "I oppose deceptive political machinations that aim to undermine party authority."

On that day, former Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo criticized Lee Jun-seok's remark that voting for him would not be a wasted vote but an investment in the future, saying, "I want to say that Hawaii is a place you go when you are in exile." Hong has been staying in Hawaii since leaving the party after losing in the primary.
