On the same day in the morning, candidate Lee held a press conference at the Democratic Party of Korea headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, stating, 'Right now, we need to channel all our energy into the initial recovery of the economy and people's livelihoods.'

Candidate Lee noted, 'The people are too divided and experiencing conflicts, so we must overcome this crisis. However, if we focus on conflicts that are not urgent, it will be difficult to gather energy, making social integration challenging. Therefore, I will prioritize urgent issues related to the people's livelihoods that have fewer conflicting elements.'

He added, 'The issue of judicial reform seems not to fall into that category.'
