On the 24th, the spouse of People Power Party candidate Kim Moon-soo, Ms. Seol Nan-young, said, "Candidate Kim Moon-soo is a person who fears money beyond being honest and clean," adding, "He strictly adhered to regulations on the use of corporate cards and official vehicles and never did anything that could lead to even a slight misunderstanding." This statement was a veiled attack on the alleged misuse of corporate cards by Kim Hye-kyung, the spouse of Democratic Party of Korea candidate Lee Jae-myung.

On that day in the afternoon, during a supportive speech on SBS, Ms. Seol stated, "Candidate Kim Moon-soo is not an ordinary person but the very essence of ordinary people," and said, "Despite having served three terms as a member of the National Assembly, two terms as the governor of Gyeonggi Province, and even as a Minister, his living circumstances have not changed at all." She also mentioned, "Even during his time as Minister of Employment and Labor, he used the subway after work and on weekends."

He referred to when candidate Kim met with three vulnerable family members during his tenure as governor of Gyeonggi Province, saying, "On the day when the Gyeonggi Provincial Office provided that family with a makeshift truck as a means of livelihood, Kim Moon-soo and his family cried together," and added that it led to the 'Infinite Care Project for Crisis Families' during Kim's administration. He described Kim as a "crybaby."

Ms. Seol noted, "Whenever candidate Kim visited a Hansen's village, he would hold their deformed hands and cry, and he created a Korean language learning center for Hansen's individuals who couldn't attend school," adding, "Hansen's individuals who learned Hangul wrote letters expressing that 'no one has treated us as warmly as Mrs. Yuk Young-soo since then.'"

He reflected on the time he participated in labor movements in the 1970s, saying, "Including myself, women at that time could not continue working after getting married and having children. Therefore, we created the first childcare centers similar to today's nurseries." He further mentioned, "My husband created childcare centers in five areas of Seoul and Gyeonggi for working women, noting that candidate Kim is someone who understands the reality of working women and childcare issues, and he made great efforts to seek solutions."

Ms. Seol stated, "Currently, South Korea is in a dire crisis. Therefore, we must exercise even more careful judgment now," adding, "We need to choose someone who looks solely at the people, rather than political parties or interests."
