The People Power Party emphasized through a broadcast campaign speech that Kim Moon-soo is the right person to lead the nation to prosperity and strength. It criticized the Democratic Party of Korea and presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung, stating that it cannot entrust the country's future to a leader who claims 'thank you' to China.
Ham Cho-rom, the full-time deputy spokesperson for the People Power Party's election countermeasures committee, stated during a Channel A broadcast campaign speech on the 21st, 'The Democratic Party has delayed the discussion on abolishing the National Intelligence Service's counterintelligence authority and even the amendment of the anti-espionage law, and has gone so far as to raise the issue of 'recovery of wartime operational control.' We cannot entrust the country's future to a leader who boldly claims that 'thank you' works for both China and Taiwan.'
He emphasized, 'When the Democratic Party and candidate Lee Jae-myung advocate for the anti-North Korea leaflet ban law and turn a blind eye to the human rights situation in North Korea, it is Kim Moon-soo, who has worked hard to send letters to all members of the U.S. Congress to inform them of the precarious reality of South Korea, who feels heartbroken over the worst human rights situation in North Korea and makes that darkness the first prayer of the new year, who is the right person to lead national unity and South Korea's prosperity and strength.'
Ham noted her experience working at a distributor involved with director Wong Kar-wai from Hong Kong, stating, 'While the fervor of the 2019 Hong Kong pro-democracy protests was intense, the current situation, six years later, has completely stripped away freedoms.' She described it as 'the ongoing crisis occurring in our country in 2025, a harsh reality that may confront us.'
She continued, 'It is a volatile crisis situation in which it is difficult to even gauge how far China's influence has spread, as Chinese individuals linked to the Chinese public security are illegally photographing military facilities in our country.' She said, 'We will move forward toward a great future for South Korea with candidate Kim Moon-soo.'
