Former leader Her appeared at a campaign event for candidate Lee Jae-myung on the afternoon of 19th at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, and said, “Both the People Power Party and the Reform Party were ultimately fake conservatives, fake reformers.” She added, “I came here today to support candidate Lee Jae-myung.”

She emphasized, “Candidate Lee Jae-myung has shown consistent leadership. Even though I was on the opposite side, he demonstrated the same attitude, consideration, and execution capacity for a year.” She believes that “that is true inclusive leadership.”

Former leader Her also stated, “Candidate Lee Jae-myung does not speak of division or hatred. He speaks of unity and responsibility.” She added, “South Korea is in crisis right now, and the leader we need is a prepared president with responsibility and execution capacity.”

After former leader Her's remarks, candidate Lee Jae-myung showed confidence, saying, “Not all houses are the same.” He continued, “Let's do politics completely differently from now on,” emphasizing, “We cannot have situations where nothing gets done if there is no agreement.”

Recently, figures from the conservative camp have been consecutively declaring their support for candidate Lee Jae-myung. Kim Sang-wook, a member of Parliament who left the People Power Party, declared his entry into the Democratic Party the day before, and former member Kim Yong-nam, who served as the policy committee chair of the Reform Party, also appeared at a campaign event supporting candidate Lee Jae-myung.
